It’s the last day of the Lil’ Inker Designs Release Hop! I hope that you’ve been enjoying all of the team’s projects this week – today is one more chance to enter to win one of the $10 gift cards. *wink wink* If you’re hopping along with us, you should have arrived here from the super-talented Sarah Jay’s blog; if you’re lost or new to this, you can head on over to the Lil’ Inker’s blog for all the details.
Today I have a fun ombre card that I made using the new Stitched Stars die set and some Basic Grey paper. I have been seeing some chevron Christmas tree images out and about in craftyland, and was inspired to try that type of idea in a green ombre diecut fashion. I made a video showing you how I made the star, too (I know it’s early in my video-making phase, so please let me know what you think! I have an ‘oops’ moment midway through, I hope you laugh along with me…)
This is also another chance to throw my hat into the ring for the Honoring Ombre Tuesday Trigger Challenge on the Moxie Fab World.
Your next stop on this hop is the lovely Taheerah’s blog! You can also check out the Lil’ Inker Designs blog for all the release details!
Welcome back to Day 2 of the Lil’ Inker Designs Release Hop! If you’re hopping along with us, you should have arrived here from Sarah Jay’s blog; if you’re lost or new to this, you can head on over to the Lil’ Inker’s blog for all the details. Also be sure to check out Jen Rzasa’s blog this week, since she’s our special guest designer for the month! Yay!
Today I have a fun ombre card that I made using the new Starry Sky die and some Glitz Wild and Free products. These colors just make me smile! I was inspired by the Honoring Ombre Tuesday Trigger Challenge happening right now over on the Moxie Fab World blog, and will be linking up there as well. I love how easy it was to create a full “sky” full of stars by cutting the paper with the die three times.
Your next stop on this hop is Taheerah’s blog! There are some fun prizes up for grabs for commenting along the way, and you can check out all the details on the Lil’ Inker Designs blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by – have an awesome day!
Popping in with a fun card that I made for this week’s Tuesday Trigger: Scene in Tangerine. I was drawn to the color scheme and the pieces of rickrack made me think of triangles, so I started playing with my Lawn Fawn patterned papers and Sketched Shapes sentiment by PTI…and this card was born.
I snagged those triangle Nestabilities ages ago on clearance at my LSS, and I am so happy to finally be putting them to use! Heading out now to make some more cards before bed…
